an area of great biodiversity

These mountains have one of the highest biodiversity rates in Spain. The geological, cultural and scenic environment is unique and protected by two national parks: the Natural Park of the Prades Mountains and the Forest of Poblet. The first boasts magnificient mountains and the second has a great and exceptional Oak tree sanctuary. It is an area that has great historic monuments such as the Monastery of Poblet, which played a central role in the medieval history of northern Spain, and the Castles of Riudabella and Milmanda.
It is on the north face (CARA NORD) of the Prades Mountains, surrounded by these natural parks, castles and monasteries, in cold climate, with poor soil and vineyards at altitude that we found the grapes that would build our wine.
