Geography: Rugged and undulating landscape, surrounded by high peaks and forests of oaks and holm oaks in the Natural Park of the Prades Mountains and the Natural Park of the Poblet Forest.
Soil: Area classified as of geological interest in Catalonia. Poor soils of slate, pebbles, and clay-limestone with rocky outcrops, cliffs, and steep mountains.
Climate: Continental-Mediterranean with cold nights that allow the vines to rest and delay sugar accumulation, preserving acidity and enhancing flavor development.
Average vineyard temperature: 13 °C.
Fermentation temperature: 14–16 °C.
Annual rainfall: 450-550 liters/m².
Sunlight exposure: 2,700 hours/year.
Vineyard management: Dry farming, cover crops, and responsible mountain viticulture with minimal intervention, prioritizing biodiversity.
Vinification: Harvest at the end of September. The free-run juice is extracted directly from the reception hopper of the grapes to avoid taking on much color from the skins. The must is then clarified, and once clean, alcoholic fermentation begins.
Alcohol content: 11.5% vol.
Tasting notes: Pale pink color, translucent with a clear rim. Clean and bright. Medium aromatic intensity, with hints of wild strawberries. On the palate, it is acidic but enveloping, voluminous, and persistent. Balanced, with a light touch and slight salinity. Quick, attractive, and voluptuous.
